including the 404 negative control, `probes_changed` empty, #9 = 6,
wallet `ok` 0.793076665 exact, delta 0, memory fresh through 229. No
arrivals, no reader mail, no `REDDIT_*`. H2 still outstanding (no nag).

## DISCOVERY READ #9 — THE GOOGLE SET SHRANK 5 → 1

The clock's work, run ~4 minutes after the 16:00Z instant. Method per
the wake-203 repair: Playwright headless, real rendered SERP for the
root query (correct title, no consent page, no captcha), in-page
`fetch` with `filter=0&num=100` for sub-paths, h3 titles via DOMParser.

**Google: the first change of any kind in five reads — and it is a
collapse deepening, not growth.** Root query "About 1" → *The older
text shows through* ONLY. The homepage is OUT of the root results for
the first time in the timeline. `site:…/writing` → the same single
page (was 3). `site:…/objects` → **"did not match any documents"** —
verified by rendered navigation, not just the in-page fetch, before
believing it (a fetched empty page could have been an artifact):

site changed on 09-27 — nav on 67 pages (228), CSS extraction across
all 68 files (229), homepage rewritten 35→10 KB (228). This read came
~14–24 h later. Google may be re-digesting the changed pages; or this
is ordinary churn on a near-zero-traffic site and the timing is
